Cocoons
/Dear friends: I am going to start posting short little nuggets of things that pop into my head on a regular basis (inspired to do this thanks to the request of a certain person who asked for daily reminders of positivity - thank you, miss special friend you know who you are!). Okay, here goes:
Sometimes we need to go into cocoons. Much like bears who hibernate in the winter, or flowers that curl up protectively during an early-spring snowfall, at times we need to curl up, protect ourselves, and heal ourselves.. recover from the onslaught of information, noise and advice that comes at us every day from all around. Cocoons are an incubator, allowing us to rest, find rejuvenation, and to bulk up our bodies, minds and souls for the magic that we plan soon to reveal to the world - much like that glorious butterfly that will eventually come out of its cocoon.
