The Great Unraveling

“People fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don't know each other; they don't know each other because they have not communicated with each other.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

It may seem like things are descending into a dystopian madness. Please be aware that, at least in my view, this is not a true depiction of how energies are truly flowing. Many broken, oppressive systems are crumbling - it is the great unraveling of the capitalistic way that has not worked for so many. And this is giving birth to a new way of love and unity.

People are speaking up and saying “no more” to these oppressive systems. This is so inspiring to witness and can help to move us into a free, sovereign planet. The conversation about racial unity is crucial, and it is one of many conversations I feel that will be had on how to treat all with kindness and fairness. Some have experienced abuses and mistreatment at far greater degrees than others and it is very difficult for many of us to comprehend the effects of that trauma on ancestral bloodlines and on the collective psyche.

It is wise, though, to be wary of the efforts of the "greedy people" to make it a divisive one, as they will try to fuel the fire so we look for someone to blame. This concept of encouraging division and an "us v them" mentality also applies to masks v no masks, open business v don’t open business, Republican v Democrat, left v right. This is how we are manipulated (through our emotions and getting triggered). Thankfully, in this time, many are also coming together, and this unity is heartwarming.

“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it” - Albert Einstein.

I believe we are each individually responsible, and reclaiming our own role in this is how we we effect change. Ultimately, deep down, most humans all want the same thing - to be safe, to thrive, to be happy and free. Ideally, we would understand that we each are connected and that makes us stronger and more unified as a human race.

We can co-create a better world when we realize it is not up to anyone else to do that but ourselves. Reaching out to friends and neighbors to ask for help when needed (and offering help in kind), coming up with our own ways to educate our children and taking back how we build our livelihoods and our ways of sharing our giftwith others will lead to little microcosms of self-sustaining communities.

It can truly be a paradise on Earth!

Here is a guided meditation to bring in gratitude (which opens our hearts) with light, and another focused on light expansion. I hope this may help to bring us out of "fight or flight" of the Ego mind (which leads to irrational thinking and behavior) and into our Higher Selves, to bring about a feeling of oneness and unity. May it be so!

Join me Wednesday evening, July 8th, and every Wednesday after that, for the Circle of Light (free online) meditation in the Souls Gathering Together Facebook page (or you can access the meditation on Zoom by joining my email newsletter, from 8-8:20 pm EDT.
